Mark Driscoll thinks his god speaks to him outside the Bible. In sermons posted at Marshillchurch.org, he often says that God spoke to him "audibly" and "told him to start a ministry".
How many Driscoll-followers are aware of this? Moreover, how many theology-from-Mars-people think that God will speak to them outside

Washer implies the Apostles are "tight-spirited theologians". He says, "You need a heavenly vision. And these tight-spirited theologians that say that visions don't exist anymore – that might explain why their preaching is so boring."
Compare Washer to the "tight-spirited" Apostle Paul. The Apostle says that the Hebrews asked for visions

Paul Washer’s Secret - his Psychological Manipulation (youtube video sermon)

And here's some good rebuttals of Washer off various blogs...
Stanhope wrote..
"Washer has always seemed rather cartoonish to me — all that quivering-voice theatricality and excessive emotionalism. He seems to get a real jolt out of scaring teenagers, as if scaring teenagers were a difficult and noble thing to do."

Notice how he asserts, "as part of [Christ's] human vocation, grasped in faith, sustained in prayer, tested in confrontation, AGONIZED OVER FURTHER IN prayer and DOUBT and implemented in action, he believed that he had to do for Israel and the world, that which according to scripture only YHWH himself could do and be."
Bonhoeffer Teaches Works-salvation (in “Costly Grace”)

Bonhoeffer contrasts cheap grace and costly grace. Here is a portion of his chapter entitled 'Costly Grace'.
Isn't Bonhoeffer teaching works-salvation below? Isn't he saying that we need to do works to gain assurance and appease God? It seems to me that Bonhoeffer is glorying in his works, and not in

Millions of people "follow" the Reformer Martin Luther.
But how many people would agree with the following quotes by Luther?
Most Lutherans and Reformed people are doubting their salvation - and completely agnostic about whether or not Christ did enough. But Luther below says that doubters are doubting because they are self-righteous
